First and foremost, the ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ (²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ) sides with peace. When peace fails, it is imperative that human rights are prioritized and protected. We echo the : ¡°Even wars have rules. International humanitarian law and human rights law must be respected and upheld.¡±

All sides of this conflict must do everything possible to ensure that civilians¡¯ access to food, water, fuel, safe shelter and health care is not compromised or blocked.

Sustainable development is impossible without peace. ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ stands in solidarity with all UN agencies, Member States and organizations in their continuing efforts to support civilians caught in this conflict.
