Picture our planet in the year 2072 ¨C what do you think it will look like? What needs to be done to achieve the future you want to see? What role can you play in a sustainable tomorrow? As world leaders gather for the Stockholm+50 meeting in Sweden this June, we want to hear from the youth.
Picture our planet fifty years from now ¨C what do you think it will look like? How can we have a better relationship to nature and protect our environment? ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-FLORES is looking to share the perspectives of young people (30 years and under) from across the UN Member States about what a sustainable future looks like to them ¨C in conjunction with the Stockholm+50 meeting in Sweden.
This momentous event ¨C to be held five decades after the 1972 United Nations Conference on the Human Environment ¨C will see the world¡¯s leaders assess the action and impact of half a century of multilateral environmental diplomacy and take the critical steps to ensure a healthy planet for generations to come.
As future leaders, the voices of the youth matter. We invite you to send in your visions of the world a century following the Stockholm Declaration , together with a selfie.
