Highlights from the 2024 UN Climate Change Conference

The (UNFCCC COP29) was held in Baku, Azerbaijan on 11¨C24 November 2024. It brought together leaders from governments, businesses and civil society to address the deepening climate crisis. 

COP29 concluded with the adoption of a new global climate finance goal, with developed nations pledging at least $300 billion annually to contribute to the global fight against climate change.
