Utusan Malaysia published an article featuring our sessions on the importance of traditional Indigenous knowledge in protecting biodiversity.

On 6 September 2025, the daily newspaper Utusan Malaysia published an article on the ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ-IAS workshops held at Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. Organized as part of the Junior SDGs Camp and moderated by Giselle Lugo Miole (JSPS-²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ Postdoctoral Fellow, ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ-IAS), the workshops inspired participants to embrace lessons from traditional wisdom alongside modern scientific insights.

The author of the article is Ahmad Ali Bin A Karim (Youth Coordinator, RCE Greater Gombak) who facilitated an interactive card game during the workshops exploring the connections between Indigenous culture and nature.
