In recent years, higher education institutions (HEIs) have grappled with mounting operational complexity, the pressures of digital transformation and the imperative to support the 2030 Agenda. In response, many HEIs have adopted digital tools and, increasingly, artificial intelligence (AI) into university management and administrative functions.
Organized by the Action Group on the Futures of Higher Education and AI within the framework of the UN Higher Education Sustainability Initiative (HESI), this webinar is part of the AI Learning Lab Webinar Series and will explore how AI can enable smarter, sustainable university management and administration. Through the lens of human-AI collaboration, it will examine mechanisms on how to strengthen institutional effectiveness and engagement, including how AI can identify at-risk students, predict staff turnover and utilize AI agents effectively in university admissions.
