Laetitia R?mer is an intern under the Climate Justice and Determinants of Health workpackage at ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ-IIGH.
Laetitia R?mer holds a Master¡¯s degree in Public Health from Bielefeld University and a Bachelor¡¯s degree in Nutritional Science from the Technical University of Munich. As part of her postgraduate studies, she participated in the Governance and Leadership in European Public Health Masters at Maastricht University through an academic exchange.
She has gained practical and research experience at institutions including Bielefeld University, Charit¨¦ Berlin, the Robert Koch Institute, and the ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ ¨C International Institute for Global Health (²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ-IIGH). At ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ-IIGH, she contributed to capacity-strengthening initiatives that support researchers in applying and translating ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ¡¯s global health work into policy-relevant knowledge, aligned with the institute¡¯s four strategic priority areas.
Her research interests include global health, health equity, sustainable food and health systems, nutrition education, and the translation of academic evidence into effective policy and practice.
