This year¡¯s Africa Climate Week (ACW) and subsequently, Africa Climate Summit(ACS2)is being held in Addis Ababa -Ethiopia.
These events bring together various stakeholders from the global stage to discuss and deliberate on key climate issues as preparation towards COP 30 in Belem-Brazil.
Some key objectives of these events are:
- Amplifying African voices and priorities in global climate discourse
- Mobilising public and private investment for low-carbon and climate-resilient development
- Facilitating partnerships to implement Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and National Adaptation plans
- Aligning climate action with sustainable development and green growth goals
Climate Week and Africa Climate Summit are organised by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
Attendees are invited to join ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ-INRA for the following sessions featuring our Director, Dr.Fatima Denton.




Some key stakeholders organising these sessions include: Pan African Climate Justice Alliance, Souther Africa Resource Watch, South South North, African Union, African Development Bank, United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, Africa Center for Economic Transformation, African Economic Research Consortium, Third World Network and Friends of Lake Turkana.
C-MINK LAUNCH

Our C-MINK(Critical Minerals Information and Knowledge Hub) will be officially launched at ACS2.
C-MINK is a self-sustaining, African-led knowledge platform that supports countries in managing the transition to a green economy by leveraging critical minerals strategically, sustainably, and equitably.
