Research Fellow, Environment-Conflict Nexus

Dr. P?nar Din? is a political scientist specializing in environmental peace and conflict studies, with a particular focus on the interplay between political power, climate and environmental change, ecological degradation, authoritarianism, resistance, and migration. 

As the Environment-Conflict Nexus Research Fellow at ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ-INWEH her works focuses on environmental peacebuilding and ecological destruction in conflict zones, looking specifically at the complex interconnected dynamics of conflicts and environmental degradation.

Dr. Dinc is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and a researcher at the Centre for Advanced Middle Eastern Studies at Lund University, where she contributes to the activities of the ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ Hub on Water in a Changing Environment. She holds a PhD in Political Science from the London School of Economics.
