²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ Institute in Macau at ICA Conference 2019

Dr. Bei Ju from ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ Macau presented an awarded research paper, summarising the key findings of the research Mainland Chinese Dual Migrants.

On 24-28 May, Dr. Bei Ju from the ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ Institute in Macau (²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ Institute in Macau) participated in held in Washington D.C. The event attracted more than 3,600 participants from all over the world.

Dr. Bei Ju presented a research paper titled WeChat Use by Mainland Chinese Dual Migrants in their Daily Border Crossing, which received the Top Paper Award from Mobile Communication Interest Group. This paper, co-authored with Dr. Hannah Thinyane from ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ Institute in Macau and Dr.  from , summarises the key findings of the research activity Mainland Chinese Dual Migrants which is undertaken within the Migrant Tech project at ²ÝÁñÊÓÆµ Institute in Macau. It has been accepted for publication in .

The conference provided an excellent opportunity for engaging with scholars and practitioners, and for seeking potential collaboration in academia.
