Dr. Huang Jingbo, Director of the ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Institute in Macau (²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Macau), led a delegation to on April 15. She was welcomed by XJTU Vice President Hong Jun, along with representatives from several key departments, including the Innovation Center, School of Artificial Intelligence, and the Jinhe Center.
The meeting focused on exploring potential collaborations, such as establishing a ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ hub at XJTU¡¯s Innovation Port, offering student internships at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ, and co-developing international training programs. Dr. Huang emphasized ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Macau¡¯s commitment to research and training in digital technologies and sustainable development, expressing a strong interest in partnering with XJTU on AI, digital economy, and innovation projects.
In the afternoon, Dr. Huang and Dr. Georgina Curto Rex, Senior Researcher and Team Lead at ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Macau, delivered a lecture on "Global Competence and Career Development in the United Nations System." Dr. Huang shared insights from her 20+ years at the UN, discussing career opportunities, particularly in technology and education. Dr. Curto Rex guided students in exploring AI¡¯s role in sustainable development and encouraged them to consider diverse career paths in this field.
This visit by ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ Macau to XJTU strengthens their growing collaboration and paves the way for deeper academic and research partnerships in the future.
