Mario Alberto Macchioni is a PhD fellow of ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ-MERIT.
He attended the bachelor degree in economics at the University of Trento and afterwards studied innovation at the Scuola Superiore Sant¡¯Anna di Pisa. In this context, he studied the role of government in encouraging firms to engage in innovation activities, specifically focusing on the implementation of the R&D tax credit tool.
