BIG IDEAS inspire progress

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2015 to address the world¡¯s most critical challenges, ranging from hunger and poverty to equality and peace. But with cascading crises threatening the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, accelerated progress on the SDGs will depend on big ideas to inspire solutions that help overcome setbacks.

The BIG IDEAS SDGs Dialogue Series introduces the people, projects, and organizations behind shared efforts to achieve the SDGs. Each event features leading representatives and researchers from international organizations, UN agencies, and ²ÝÁñÊÓƵ institutes to stimulate discussion on sustainable development issues and initiatives. The events provide a unique opportunity for young researchers, graduate students, and civil society to become more familiar with SDG-related topics, ask questions, and learn how they can contribute to local and global SDG progress.
